To Die For

Let me just say that I now firmly believe that everyone sucks.

I clocked out of work (the grocery store) at about 8:00 PM and then did some shopping. I was in aisle 4 selecting some goddamn juice when my prick coworker Justin started running straight at me with a shopping cart full of garbage bags. Now, being a reasonable human being with equally reasonable expectations of others, I assumed that he surely wasn't intending to ram the heavy cart full-speed into my heel/ankle.

But, of course, he did. Completely on purpose. I know this because he was laughing hysterically while I was writhing in pain.

I screamed "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK" because it hurt so badly that I literally had tears in my eyes.

Anyway, I told Rachel (the night manager) about the entire thing and showed her my purpling ankle, but she was only mildly upset/concerned. So my mom went to the store and told Pete (the store director) about everything, and now all I can do is hope that Justin gets fired. Or at the very least, contracts AIDS and dies.

As of right now, my ankle/heel is quite swollen and painful, and I can't wear any shoes properly. It looks like I'll be sporting flip flops at work for the next few days.

Unforunately, unforseen circumstances led me to this.
